Create a Marketing Calendar to Increase Your Sales

Create a Marketing Calendar to Increase Your Sales

Most businesses forcus all their efforts on securing clients in the short term. How do I grab that client that has just heard about me? How do I try to get people coming through my door for the next week?

This is the wrong process and these are the wrong questions to ask.

Your business must have a marketing calendar mapped out for the entire year, starting immediately.

By writing a clear strategy which defines what marketing and promotional activities you plan to undertake over the next year, you will have the confidence to know when clients will be approaching you, and you will know what marketing concepts work well for your client base.

Your marketing plan may include direct mail to your list of prospective customers, magazine advertising, brochure creation or website development.

Don’t worry about the content just yet.  When it is time, you can employ a copywriter to assist you.

Rather, you should consider what offers may entice customers to your door. Again, you don’t have to be really specific to begin with. Just brainstorm some ideas with your staff, your friends and your family.

What sort of deals will interest and excite your potential clients?

If you map out these ideas, you will be suprised at how easy it is to promote your business.

…and when you’re ready, give me a call and I’ll help you out.
